Importers into the Katanga province of the Democratic Republic of Congo can bring in less than container loads from China and Dubai through a consolidation service offered by Ndola-based JAAF Logistics in collaboration with a Chinese freight forwarder.
The goods are consolidated in a warehouse in Dubai or China and exported as full container loads into the DRC, according to JAAF managing director Firoz Dungarsi.Very urgent cargo is airfreighted into Lubumbashi or Ndola.The service was launched at the start of 2020.
JAAF also facilitates and provides logistics support for client-supplier contracts for the supply of various commodities on a cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) basis.
