Black-owned freight forwarding companies in Zimbabwe that have formed their own association say they want the government to give them more business. Caleb Chihota, president of the Indigenous Freight Forwarders Association, says that his members have been crowded out of the market by multinationals and white-owned firms.

We would like the government to award its multi-million dollar tenders to indigenous forwarders who support the ideals of black empowerment. Chihota alleges that some black-owned companies are being used as fronts by whites to get business and says these will be prevented from getting government contracts.
