Business executives and captains of industry, policy makers and government ministers, as well as labour leaders have all been invited to the 5th South African Metals and Engineering Indaba (MEI) on September 12.
Kaizer Nyatsumba, CEO of the Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern Africa (Seifsa), who is hosting MEI, described it as a “a vital opportunity to discuss matters of common interest calmly, robustly and yet constructively in order to improve performance in our sector and to revive the economy”.
Some of the speakers include trade and industry minister Ebrahim Patel, public enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan, Africa House director Duncan Bonnett, and Manufacturing Circle CEO Phillippa Rodseth.
